Hello and welcome back! I've got another post for this month's Hobby Polish Bloggers theme Goldfish and I hope you like it!

I have to say...that's pretty gold, and very fishy...so I feel like I nailed it!

HPB Presents: Goldfish

Hobby Polish Bloggers picked "goldfish" as the theme for the August link up, so I just gave to participate this time around! Maybe even more than once if I'm feeling ambitious!

Read more to see how this all started!

Stamping Saturday: Summer Loving

Welcome back for another Stamping Saturday! It feels like I just posted last week's mani and it's time for a new one...maybe it's because I was a few days late, haha

I told myself I *HAD* to use bright color and there are pretty eye searing...thus the sunglasses, lol

#31DC2016Weekly: Metallic v2

I've got another black and gold mani to show today. And it's another Game of Thrones inspired one! Anyone a Greyjoy fan?
Does it count to have two entries for #31DC2016Weekly in one week to make up for not participating in a different color? Heh...yellow is still haunting me.

#31DC2016Weekly: Metallic

I've got another mani for #31DC2016Weekly challenge - this week's prompt is metallic. I ended up with this molten gold looking smoosh. My friend said they look like fancy granite counter tops and now that's all I can think about when I look at them!

Stamping Saturday: Coffee

Hello and welcome to another Stamping Saturday! This one is special, as it's the first time I'm doing a twin mani.
*Purchased by me* *Affiliate link*
Beatrice, Art of Polish on IG, loves coffee, probably way more than me! When we came across a coffee stamping plate she needed to have it asap! Of course, shipping, live and coordination meant we didn't get to do twin manis for some time, but here they are!

Muddy Girl Camo ft Nvr Enuff Polish

Hello and welcome! Today I have a pretty short post to share and show off this fun, bright and girly, camo design.

As usual, the design is stamped, but I did branch out a bit and tried a new technique - smooshing! At least that's what I think it's called :D

Vday Roses

Hello there! Valentine's day is coming to a close, and I hope it was a good one, however you chose to celebrate it, and even if there was no celebration involved. I think mine turned out a bit anticlimactic. After the wedding festivities were over, my body caught up to me and was all like "Hey, what happened? We had a deal..the deal was we sleep in on Sundays! Go take a nap." So I encouraged my hubby to go on a bro date and see Deadpool while I snuggled with my kitty and had a nap. But I did my nails so I gotta show them off, right? Right! So here they are....typical roses ;D
My inspiration was from a mani I saw on IG by cdbnails143. And then I realized that of all the stamping plates I have, I don't have that exact one. Still, roses, and flowers in general are pretty abundant when it comes to stamping plates so it's not an exact copy, but definitely inspired by.

Stamping Saturday: Wallpaper gradient

This Stamping Saturday I wanted to do another gradient design that I've had in my head for a while. I think the inspiration came from nail wraps I saw a long time ago, blue to black gradient with aqua damask-like print. So here's my attempt at it!
*Purchased by me**Affiliate links*
I did blue/black gradient not too long ago, with the mermaid scale design. End result didn't show the gradient colors so I wanted to do it again and not cover up this time. Well, not cover it completely at least!

Stamping Saturday: Doomfire berries

Stamping Saturday has arrived, and I've been slacking! So far 2016 is off to a slow start as far as my nails go. I made  this mani last weekend but didn't get around to posting it. Partially because I was getting over a cold and just wanted to veg all day and not do anything, and partially because I was afraid I wouldn't be able to capture and show off Doomfire well enough.
*Purchased by me* *Affiliate Link*

What's Doomfire you ask? It's that bottle of magic I have in my hand, made by the Baroness X. Yup, it's the same brand that was featured in the mermaid mani earlier in the month. Doomfire is a custom polish made for the Baroness X fan group, using the elusive unicorn pee pigment. Simply Nailogical did a video about this pigment on YouTube, it's a fun watch if you're interested!

Stamping Saturday & HPB Presents: Holiday Nails

I think I'm so full of holiday design ideas that I'm getting anxious I won't be able to get them all done before the holidays pass! Today I have a 2 in 1 kind of post, Stamping Saturday and HPB, as well as 2 designs based on one polish!

Stamping Saturday & HPB Presents: Spooky Night

HPB's theme for October is Halloween, and it's time for Stamping Saturday again so I'm combining the two for this look. I was really inspired by Winstonia's "Spooky Night" nail wraps (see here) and thought I could achieve a similar look with stamping. How did I do?

Stamping Saturday: Spooky Scenery

I have another Halloween inspired look on my nails! As I missed Stamping Saturday last time - sorry ladies, I really wanted to have a mani ready for this one so I got it a few days ahead and kept showing it off to all my coworkers, lol. Since the move we're gone through quite a lot of our phone's data and the initial month long wait to get internet set up has been pushed out till Thanksgiving-ish and it's been really challenging being so limited and disconnected. So that's the reason behind the drop in blog posts..and I've been doing better about posting in the last couple of months!
So I hope you do enjoy my posts whenever I can get them up!

#StampingSaturday: Love Birds

This Saturday I'd like to share my Robin Moses inspired "love bird" mani. Last Saturday I hung out with a lovely lady who lives nearby and is also into polish and stamping, it was a stamping play date of sorts. We actually met in Claire's last year while both trying to find a marshmallow stamper, haha. So I got to peruse her plates collection, and being the hoarder that I am, I had a handful of stamper heads with me so I borrowed this bird images from her FUN15  (with MdU Black) plate and took them home with me - and this is what I did with them! Apologizes in advance for the picture heavy post, but I really liked the outcome!

Swatch & Art: Bonita Colors "My Avatar"

Bonita Colors has several summer collections out, and I helped myself to a handful of them ;)
One of the collections is a new polish line "Gel On" - applies like polish, finishes like a gel. It's supposed to be extra shiny and last for 7 days. I don't think I'm going to test that claim as I change my polish more than once a week, but I'm looking forward to trying out the colors anyway!
This beautiful blue is 2 coats of My Avatar. I love the color! I should wear my blues more often!
I added a sunflower accent using UberChic plate 3-01, using black MdU of course, and filled in with LynB Designs neon yellow -YOLO. The gold center is done with Bold Gold from Maybelline.

Hope you enjoyed this brief post, I'll try to do more of them in the future in hopes of getting into the habit of posting more frequently.

30 Days of Colour (May): Gold/Dotticute

I usually drop the ball midway through a challenge but this time I want to stick it out till the end - it sounds really fun and will push me to try other techniques besides stamping :D I found this group of ladies through IG, and decided to join them for the month of May and follow along with the prompts.
