Hello, hello!! Welcome to the blog post covering the final collection/release of the year from Bee's Knees Lacquer! This is a 7 piece collection of new and improved white multichromes, and the theme is Throne of Glass! Release is Dec 26th, noon EST!

*Polishes provided as press samples for review* 

You can certainly wear the polishes on their own, but they may be a bit sheer, depending on your free edge, and personal preference! They're lovely over a white base and are phenomenal over dark undies too! Quite a lot of mileage and versatility from them all. As soon as my swatch pack arrived, I proclaimed this to be the ultimate "they're not the same, they're similaaaaar" collection! I mean, how are you supposed to pick a favorite?? Anyhow, let's get into the swatches then!

I'll be honest and upfront - white polish scares me. Part of the reason I procrastinated with this set is because I got anxious about them getting too washed out in the pictures and not being able to capture how pretty and delicate they actually are. But I did it, so here's the post. Be sure to reference other swatchers as well, there are so many wonderful pictures shared in the BKL FB group already!! All swatches show 2 coats of the multichrome over a white cream base and bonus pics of the polishes solo & over a black base. 

 Carranam - a white multichrome that shifts from blue to purple to red. $13

Swatches show 2 coats of Carranam over 1 coat of white cream base (A Mantis Shrimp's Favorite Color - this white is used in all swatch pictures); over white this actually reads like a pale yellow with strong blue shimmer

The following two pictures show a comparison; L - 2 coats Carranam over white, M - 3 coats Carranam, R - 1 coat Carranam over black 

Fireheart - a white multichrome that shifts from red to orange to green. $13

Swatches show 2 coats of Fireheart over 1 coat of white cream base; with the white undies this color reads as a pale baby blue with red/gold shimmer, but keep scrolling to see what it does on black!

A magical transformation! L - 2 coats Fireheart over 1 coat white, M - 3 coats Fireheart, R - 1 coat Fireheart over black 

I Wanted To Go To Perranth With You - a white multichrome that shifts from white to green to blue. $13

Swatches show 2 coats over 1 coat white cream. This one looks like a pearly white with green flashes of shimmer, a really delicate color! It almost reads as a barely there pink. 

L - 2 coats I Wanted To Go To Perranth With You over 1 coat white cream, M - 3 coats I Wanted To Go To Perranth With You, R - 1 coat I Wanted To Go To Perranth With You over black

Lord of the North - a white multichrome that shifts from aqua to blue to purple to pink. $13

Swatches show 2 coats over 1 coat of white cream. Layered this way it looks like a pale green/aqua is the dominant color here

L - 2 coats Lord of the North over 1 coat white, M - 3 coats Lord of the North, R - 1 coat Lord of the North over black

The Glass Castle - a white multichrome that shifts from gold to green to blue. $13

Swatches show 2 coats over 1 coat white cream. This one is the hardest one to pin down for me as far as what color it reads to the eye! It's multiple ones all at the same time, really pretty iridescent shifts.

L - 2 coats The Glass Castle over 1 coat white cream, M - 3 coats The Glass Castle, R - 1 coat The Glass Castle over black. Solo and over black, the gold shimmer really stands out.

To Whatever End - a white multichrome that shifts from green to blue to purple. $13

Swatches show 2 coats over 1 coat white cream. This is another barely there pink tone with strong green shimmer

L - 2 coats To Whatever End over 1 coat white, M - 3 coats To Whatever End, R - 1 coat To Whatever End over black

 Neith's Arrow - a white multichrome that shifts from pink to gold to green. $13

Swatches show 2 coats over 1 coat white cream. This is another one that's hard to get a read on, but overall I'm gonna say the green hue is prominent.

L - 2 coats Neith's Arrow over white cream, M - 3 coats Neith's Arrow, R - 1 coat Neith's Arrow over black
