Bee's Knees Lacquer; October Polish Pickup Pack - All Hail King Paimon

Bee's Knees Lacquer - All Hail King Paimon
Welcome! Today's post is just a quick swatch of a single polish - but I do have a whole new collection from Bee's Knees Lacquer to show a little later! This shade is perfect for fall and is being released in October in the Polish Pickup Pack.

*Polish provided as press sample for review*

Name: All Hail King Paimon
Cap: none
Price: $13
Inspiration: We loved the movie Hereditary and after watching it, we talked about it for weeks. Who was the real villain of the movie? Pick up your bottle and decide!
Description: a blood red polish filled with gold to green Aurora shimmer. This polish uses twice as much Aurora pigment as we normally use.

For my swatches I ended up using 3 thin coats, but that's mainly because I could see VNL under my desk lights - I'd say for normal wear, 2 coats would be fine as I didn't see VNL in natural light. Application was great as usual - the double amount of shimmer gave a strong impression of gold, which lightened the red base to where the polish appeared orange, but like burnt reddish orange. Perfect for fall!

I was itching to do nail art over this and it was so hard to talk myself out of pumpkins. There will be time for those later! I went with a birch tree forest look, using stamping plate Clear Jelly Stamper Yule Tide Christmas (CjSC-13). Black and white stamping polish from Bundle Monster, and dabbed yellow and orange for the leaves, colors are Pomelo and Mimosa from It Girl Nail Art.
