Bee's Knees Lacquer - The Conjuring Collection

Bee's Knees Lacquer - The Conjuring Collection

As October approaches, Sarah of Bee's Knees Lacquer is going to be super busy filling orders for all the beautiful polishes she's been releasing! Today I will be showing the polishes releasing 10/1 - and this is just part 1 of what's coming for October! Take a look at the swatches and deets, there will be an undie promo in place as well!
*Polishes provided as press sample for review*
October is the month for all things spooky, and Bee's Knees Lacquer are releasing colors inspired by The Conjuring and the American Horror Story. The 6 polishes I'm showing now are the first part. 4 of these polishes qualify for an undie promo - because they contain unicorn pee pigment and are sheer in nature, if you buy them during the window of 10/1- 10/7, the matching undie polish will be included!

Staring off with the 2 non unicorn pee polishes in the collection - they both have aurora shimmer!

Still Haunts Mea bright buttercup yellow full of Aurora shimmer that shifts from gold to green to blue. $13; I used 2 coats and it was enough to cover VNL - this is super in your face yellow and if your collection is lacking in the yellow department, definitely consider this one. It's got a great green flash as well, so it isn't your basic color!

The Crooked Man-a navy blue base with linear holo and glowing red to orange Aurora shimmer. It's like the holo version of Blorange! $13; 2 coats for the swatches, beautiful application as expected!

And now for the quad with the unicorn pee shimmer - I had to take a group pic!  For the swatch pictures I used 2 coats of undies + one of UP polish, but I'll add notes on each one as to how I feel they'll wear without undies.

Look What She Made Me Do-the perfect crimson for fall, this polish is full of OG UP as well.  It will be $18 and will include the undies for free if you purchase by 10/7; the base on this one is actually a jelly, you'll see one picture of this in the slides; if wearing the UP polish on its own, 3 coats will make it fully opaque; this is a bright cherry red color, but it was harder for me to catch all the color shifts on camera

Enfield-inspired by the second movie and the real story of the Enfield poltergeist, this is a navy blue polish full of OG UP. It will be $18 and will include the undies for free if you purchase by 10/7; for regular wear I'd say that 1 coat undie + 1 coat UP polish would be enough, or 3 coats of UP on its own

Annabelle-inspired by the world's creepiest doll, this is a sage green polish full OG UP. It will be $18 and will include the undies for free if you purchase by 10/7; for regular wear I'd say that 1 coat undie + 1 coat UP polish would be enough, or 3 coats of UP on its own

Bathsheba-inspired by the witch of the first movie, this is a pea soup green polish with OG UP. It will be $18 and will include the undies for free if you purchase by 10/7; for regular wear I'd say that 1 coat undie + 1 coat UP polish would be enough, or 3 coats of UP on its own but this is one of those colors you may still have VNL at 3 coats as it makes the free edge whiter and prominent

Then, I tried each one of the UP polishes over a coat of black to see what would happen..

I have mixed feelings over the black undies..the red one definitely pops as far as the shimmer goes, the navy seems to benefit a little bit from a darker base but not by much, and the two greens I feel like are dustier and duller...I prefer them over the original undies. Bathsheba is actually a surprise favorite out of these, along with Still Haunts Me.

Pick your must haves and mark your calendar for 10/1 - in the meantime, check out what's presently available in the Bee's Knees shop!
