I've got another quick review of a BornPretty Store product - a sneaky little magnetic powder! This one really surprised me, take a look!

This is item #41270 color option 7, there is 1g of product in the jar, and at first glance it looks beige with a hint of pale blue shimmer.
I used two application methods with this pigment, chrome and magnetic. For the chrome look, I simply burnished the powder into a no-wipe gel topcoat (over a black base) and it turned this bright metallic blue color!
For the magnetic effect, I mixed a little powder with clear gel, and applied to my nails with a dotting tool. Then I applied a magnet and it pulled the blue shimmer to the middle, but turned the remainder of the dots into brown.
I'm not sure if the same brown/blue look will appear if this is applied over the whole nail, but the shimmer that comes out with the magnet looks just like the shimmer in the jar, while the chrome application is a darker shade.
This is another powder that I prefer to apply by burnishing, rather than using for magnetic effect. Perhaps I need to play with it more in the future, so see what it looks like over other base colors.
