Welcome! I've got some nail art reviews piling up, so I'll be sharing those over the next few days as a little change from swatch posts. Hope you enjoy them!

This is kind of a 2 in 1 post, because I have 1 magnetic powder and 1 magnet. They go together though, don't they? :)
This is a dual ended magnet - item # 42347 - the rectangular side will give your design that standard cat eye look, just a line across the nail. And the small round side can really give you unique outcomes, because you can play with gel polish to your heart's content without worrying about it drying. Once happy with how the magnetic effect looks, cure it to set it in place!
The pigment I used is item #41811 - option #1; there are many listings, a total of 6 colors and each color comes in either 0.2g or 0.5g. I believe my container is for 0.2g but there is quite a lot of pigment to play with!
I really enjoyed it as a "chameleon" effect - in the first pic, this is how I applied the pigment to the index and pinkie nails; simply burnishing it into a topcoat (non sticky). The colors go from this vibrant berry shade to golden green. To use it as a magnetic pigment, I ended up mixing a little bit of it into come clear gel and applying it to my nails with a clean brush. After the nails are covered, I held the magnet stick for a few seconds before curing it. While this method worked, I felt that it was a little messy and would require the use of a clean brush every time I wanted to go this, rather than having a designated bottle of already made magnetic polish. I think I will be using this powder more for burnishing in the future, as that multichrome effect was really pretty !!
