Bee's Knees Lacquer - Valak
Welcome back to another blog post featuring a stunning polish that's about to be released from ! This one will only be available for purchase in the Polish Pickup Pack, so check out the swatches, which will hopefully help you make up your mind on purchasing this! Hint - it's horror movie inspired, so if that's your thing, then it's a bonus!
*Polish provided as press sample for review*
Name: Valak
Price: $15
Cap: 300
Inspiration: The Nun from the Conjuring movies
Description:
a black based polish with the indigo sibling unicorn pee pigment and
lime to peach multichrome magnetic microflakes. **Might have a bit of ugly
bottle syndrome because of the microflakes.
For my swatches I applied three thin coats- and used a magnet on the third coat to bring out that gorgeous magnetic effect. The peach/lime effect was super visible while I wore this, and the black base isn't really obvious because the indigo pigment showed up in those areas.
You don't have to be a fan of horror movies to appreciate a pretty polish, and I'm not even going to pretend that I'm not a huge chicken! So I went with some fall leaves because I'm one of those people that's way over summer and ready to jump into the next season!
I used some layered leaf images from plate UberChic Beauty Lovely Leaves 02, with stamping polishes from Hit The Bottle - Spun Gold and Drop Red Gorgeous
Budgeting for the Pickup Pack can be a challenge, but this polish does have a cap limit, so if you decided you need it, make sure to be there as soon as the sale starts! Bee's Knees Lacquer will be celebrating their 1 year anniversary in September as well, so keep your eyes peeled for what they're cooking up!
