Bee's Knees Lacquer - The Witches Collection
Hello & Welcome! Bee's Knees Lacquer generally does new releases on the first of the month, but this time, January's release is coming early AND there will be a sale! That's right! If you didn't get all your wishlisted polishes for the holidays and are taking matters into your own hands, BKL has a new 9 piece collection for your perusal ;)

The Crochan - an ultra holo with delicate red to green shimmer. $14
2 coats + top coat for swatches; Sarah's holos are really strong, if you haven't experienced them yet, and the shimmer adds a warmth while at the same time a cool seafoam green flash that's hard to photograph
The Ironteeth - a dark purple to red multichrome with subtle linear holo and holo flakes. $14
I used 2 coats + top coat for the swatches but it is honestly opaque enough that 1 coat can suffice! More coats just deepen the base color. It's got a nice purple flash and shows a gold side as well. And holo of course!
Rhiannon - a brown, super sparkly multichrome that shifts from deep pink to gold. $12
I used 3 coats + top coat for the swatches - this is a fiery multichrome shifter!!
The Witch Kingdom - a brown, super sparkly multichrome that shifts from rich gold to green. $12
2 coats + top coat; on the nail this showed as predominantly gold with green shimmer, in the bottle it's more of a bronzey-nude, these shifty multichromes definitely won't leave you bored!
The Wastes - a brown, super sparkly multichrome that shifts from a minty teal to red. $12
2 coats + top coat for swatches; now this is a tricksy one!! The color shifts are very obvious, it's like green/pink in a browinsh base
The Last Witch Queen - a mint green polish loaded with red to green shimmer. $12
This is more of a crelly base so I used 3 coats for good coverage - she shimmer showed gold/green for me.
The Blackbeaks - rich purple with a hint of red shimmer and gold to green ghost flakes. $14
2 coats + top coat for swatches; the ghost flakes were a little camera-shy for me, but that kind of fits their name! You do get to see them flashing gold and green though, so they're there and are adding their element to the polish
The Yellowlegs - a rusty orange with glowing green shimmer and holo flakes. $12
2 coats + top coat for swatches; this is such a gorgeous and rich color, I was a little surprised at myself by how much I enjoyed it!

This was the only polish where I still had VNL at 3 coats due to the jelly base, but the green shimmer and flake combo worked well to mask that, and I honestly think the VNL is more prominent under the desk lights for pics, if it's a real concern, undies solve the problem and stretch the bottle!
And there you have it, the new collection all wrapped up! If you are a fan of Throne of Glass, then the names might ring a bell!
