Bee's Knees Lacquer - Seelie Shimmers Quad
I've got some more brand new Bee's Knees Lacquer polishes to show today - these will be released at Polish Con 6/16 and then sometime in July for regular release.
*Polishes provided as press samples for review*
This quad of creams has a partner quad of shimmers and together they're quite a sight! I'll split them up for the sake of keeping the posts shorter, so let's dive in. See the shimmer toppers posted here!
I used 2 coats for all & top coat. No issues with application, they all leveled nicely and Greylings was almost 1 coat!
Greylings - a slate blue cream that pairs beautifully with The Golden Ones
Nightflyers - a dark navy cream that pairs beautifully with Changeling
Slaugh - a dark plum cream that pairs beautifully with Nymph
The Wild Hunt - a moss green cream that pairs beautifully with Sylph
You know what creams are good for, besides undies? Water marbling! That's not something you see on my blog because it's my weakest form of nail art, but I'll show you my novice attempts for evidence that the quad can get the job done.
I used a white base for all of them - Sally Hansen Insta-Dri White, and went to work on the skittles.
Index is Nightflyers alternated with Wet'n'Wild Clear Protector - I got wobbly lines but figured they looked like water so I didn't wanna scrap it.
Middle nail is supposed to be a stripe look with Slaugh and Void (another BKL cream)
Ring nail is Greylings, Void and Clear Protector; I like it the least, but it reminded me of a marble effect so I kept it.
And pinkie nail is Clear Protector alternating with The Wild Hunt.
Be sure to check out the Seelie quad counterpart when I post them & keep an eye on the fan group for release info for July
