I seem to have developed an addiction to nail polish! I'm constantly talking about polish and browsing swatches and reviews. So I decided to get a blog for posting my own attempts at nail art and designs, and to give my hubby a break from having to listen to me blab all the time :) Of course, nail polish isn't ALL I'm interested in, so I think other topics and posts will creep up in here as well!

The Digit-al Dozen Presents - In My Garden; Day 2
The Digit-al Dozen day 2 is here and I'm back with another floral mani, because that's the main thing I think of when it comes to gardens!I promise some variety is coming though.
When I was swatching this beautiful green polish - Bee's Knees Lacquer Thorns and All (PR polish provided for review) - it was just begging for flowers.
I used layered stamping from plate Clear Jelly Stamper 36 /On The Pond. I used MdU Mexican Pink, Purple, and White - I mixed a drop of pink and white as well as purple and white to get lighter shades of the polishes for a bit more variety.
These flowers remind me of peonies - and again, the inspiration is my mom's garden! I remember when I was a little kid, I asked my mom one time when my friend's birthday was because I was too little to remember/know the calendar -she said it's when the peonies bloom. That stuck with me, but as I grew, I realized the flowers can be in bloom for a while and birthdays are just one day! It was in June..but since we moved to the States, the climate is so much milder and they're in bloom earlier now.
Check out the link up, there's so many creative designs!
