Bee's Knees Lacquer - Multichromes for August 2018

Time to show more goodies from Bee's Knees Lacquer! This trio of polishes will debut at The Indie Shop in Seattle on 7/22 but will also be available for general purchase on their website 8/1.
*Polishes provided as press samples for review*

I'm calling this the ACOTAR trio - Bee's Knees Lacquer had a massive collection released not long ago inspired by A Court of Thorns and Roses, and there were some mystery prototypes made. And some of those have made it into an upcoming release as official colors! On the swatch info sheet I got with the polishes, all three of these are marked as being one coaters, depending on thickness of application. So of course I had to test that out! Behold, all made it to opacity with just 1 coat!! Color me impressed! We're long past the days where multichromes were toppers only and took 4 coats!

Embrace It - (formerly the Defender of the Rainbow prototype 2) this multichrome shifts green/blue/purple and even orange at the extreme angles

I just had to squeeze in a little art, just white stamping from plate BornPretty Store BP-137

I Am Yours - multichrome that shifts red/orange/gold/green. I absolutely adore this one! The color is so gorgeous and molten looking <33

I wanted a water-type image to stamp and found these cute jellyfish on plate 28 from Creative Shop Stamping; I stamped them in silver - Kylo Ren by Esmaltes da Kelly - and colored in with BKL More Than One Way to be Smart

The color payoff on these multichromes is great! I feel like everyone will find at least one set of color shifts they gravitate towards, and I'm happy to see that an orangeish one was added! I suspect that the reason I had brush strokes visible is because I wasn't picking up enough polish to cover in one stroke, as my nails are on the longer side now, so I had to go back over some spots. Maybe a second coat would have smoothed everything out, but I really wanted to test the one coat claim :)

There's a little bit more to show, so stay around!
