Say hello to Tonic Polish - Peacock Parade! This is a green to purple super shifting multichrome polish that contains 3 times the amount of pigment normally used in Tonics. I should also say right off the bat that this was a group member's custom that was made available for general purchase for a very limited time, and that time has passed :(
For my swatches I used 2 coats and top coat. This is world away from some of the first multichromes I tried that are sheer and would take 4 coats for opacity or undies. Color payoff without undies here is jaw dropping!!
I definitely got a lot of blue/green and purple showing, and it's so hard to not post a hundred pics of this...the shiftier a polish it, the harder it is to capture it's full range, I tried to keep to a reasonable amount!
I really liked some of the bottle holding poses, the bottle of course steals the show, but just look at these...*drool*
This may be one of my favorite pics from these, I felt like a hand model!!
Bonus! Anyone have one of these drink tumblers? Super awkward as a picture prop but it's one of my 2 multichrome items that aren't polish (the other is a fidget spinner lol)
In more direct lamp light, the green finally peeks out!
And of course, the nail art...such fall <3
Super duper simple - just one color stamping.
Plate: Bundle Monster BM-S207
Stamping polish: Sinful Colors - Gold Medal
I have wanted to do this mani for so long, I fell in love with the stamping plate - it's a buffet style fall themed one with a lot of text. And how cute is the coffee cup and "pumpkin latte" ?! For many, a PSL (pumpkin spice latte) is the start of fall :D
So...I had too many ideas with this polish that I wanted to do nail art with. So I ended up sealing it with a gel top coat and doing a couple more designs! It's been a great trick for extending a polish I like and still getting to change the art. I'm not a gel user but have been dabbling in it lately and it definitely has it's uses!! Alrighty, hope this was enjoyable! Until next post ;)
