This duo first saw the light of day back in June during Indie Expo Canada in Toronto, a set amount were available for sale to attendees, and I was fortunate to have a friend there that got me the duo. Now it's being released to everyone! 8/13 at 2 PM Central on Tonic's website, unlimited orders for 24 hrs!
One Million Flowers - a whitened linear holo with strong pink shimmer and ultra holo micro glitters
Now, I'm sure everyone with holo nail polish has at some point realized that it's nearly impossible to have a white holo, but in this case, I'm not even wishing this was pure white! It's such a delicate color and the pink shimmer tends to shift to copper. For some reason it made me think it would be the perfect color for a bride! I got married before I got into indie polish, but I was seriously wondering what I would have chosen for my mani if that wasn't the case. This would have been perfect!
I was questioning opacity and surprisingly, or maybe not, 2 coats were sufficient (plus top coat of course)! This has been my experience with the "luminchrome" family of Tonic polishes - they're so packed with shimmery pigment that getting them opaque is not an issue.
Strong shimmer, strong holo, just an amazing polish! See how it changes from being muted and dainty in lightbox (below) and coming alive under the lamp lights (above)!
For the nail art I did a "something blue" stamping with a #6 Pastel Blue MdU polish and a Loja BBF 34 stamping plate.
Even with the stamping, I feel like my eyes are just drawn to the bottle because it's so glowy and amazing <3
This is One Million Flowers - the second polish, Ever After Minty Me - if a minty holo with strong pink shimmer that also looks like it shifts copper. I don't have that one to show, but it will be part of the listing as these will be sold as a duo only! Now I'm wondering if these two are shimmer twins...that would be pretty neat!
