Welcome to another blog post!! Bee's Knees Lacquer new collection launch is 8.28.2020 so there's hardly any time left to wait! This is an 11 piece collection inspired by Borderlands. Lots of pics to show so let's get to it!

God Queen Tyreen...and Troy - inspired by the Calypso twins, this is a black polish with red to magenta shimmet. $11

Swatches show 2 coats + top coat. This is sure to be a favorite for fall, amazing color!!

I Punch the Initiative - inspired by Brick, this is a shimmery fruit punch pink. $11

Swatches show 2 coats + top coat; this is a bright and juicy pink that feels summery 

Hey Sugar - inspired by Moxxi, this is a deep raspberry with golden shimmer. $11

Swatches show 2 coats + top coat; this would be a great fall color for those ready to transition seasons! It's got good opacity but I tend to apply thicker coats and this showed some brush strokes, so I'd suggest thinner coats to try to avoid that if you're particular about it. **It was mentioned that this one may stain the nails, so make sure to wear good base coat! I didn't experience it myself but this was barely on my nails for 10 mins to take pics...

The Heart Still Beats - a vampy red-brown with bright blue to purple shimmer. $11

Swatches show 2 coats + top coat; this is a stunning color combo, don't miss out on it, the shimmer isn't shy!!

Crunk Bunny - inspired by Tiny Tina, this is a medium gray polish with glowing magenta shimmer. $11

Swatches show 3 coats + top coat. This is a gorgeous color for those who lean more on the neutral side when it comes to polish. Neutral, but definitely not boring, look at those shimmers!

Make it Rain - an eridium purple creme. $8

Swatches show 2 coats + top coat; a buttery creamy color - would make a great base for layering some of the sheer polishes 

Ice Queen - inspired by Aurelia Hammerlock, this is an icy white with blue to purple shimmer. $11

Swatches show 2 coats + top coat; this one was a lovely surprise, the shimmer adds a pearlescent effect to the polish and the color isn't a stark white, it made my nails look like they're pearls, very classy feeling!

Bacon is for Sycophants - a spring green pearlescent multichrome that shifts from dark gold to lime to teal. $13

Swatches show 3 coats + top coat; we're getting into the sheer but shimmery polishes! This is a great addition to the recent multichromes from BKL, if you've enjoyed the releases over the summer, or even if you're new to them, considering adding this to your collection! Great on its own and pulls extra duty by being a topper/layering polish!

Next two swatches are a little bonus I like doing with the multichromes - a bit of a comparison. Index - 1 coat over black, middle - 2 coats over 1 coat of a nude base (Possessed), and ring shows 3 coats solo.

Wenches with Wrenches - inspired by Ellie, this is a dark marigold with glowy coral to gold shimmer. $12

Swatches show 3 coats + top coat; hello gorgeous shimmery pumpkin!! Can you guys tell I'm ready for fall?? The shimmer is generous with this one, so in  3 coat application I felt comfortable with the amount of coverage I got and VNL is not an issue. **This one may stain due to the small amount of yellow in it - so protect your nails with a good base coat! I wore this for about 12 hours and had staining on 2 nail through my latex base coat

Same bases for these comps - index is 1 coat over black, middle is 2 coats over nude (Possessed) and ring finger nail is 3 coats alone 

Butt Stallion 2.0 - a sheer silvery blue pearlescent multichrome that shifts to purple and green. $12

Swatches show 3 coats + top coat; this is on the sheer side but despite that, there is a good amount of color in it and it mostly read as a silvery blue to my eye, with shifts to purple. The close up pics do show that purple and green are visible!

Index - one coat over black, middle - two coats over nude (Possessed), and ring finger nail is 3 coats solo

Pink Pandoracorn - a cross between the Star-eater and the Asteri, this is a peachy pearlescent multichrome with pink to green shift. $12

Swatches show 3 coats + top coat; I mostly picked up the peach and pink shifts in this one and my VNL was pretty prominent even at 3 coats

Index - one coat over black, middle - two coats over nude (Possessed), ring - 3 coats solo
