Vinyl Nail Art - Mermaid Scales

Vinyl Nail Art - Mermaid Scales

Bee's Knees Lacquer - Lele and Lava Guava
Welcome! Today's post is a quick nail art using nail vinyls and a couple lovely polishes from Bee's Knees Lacquer!
I have been keeping a lot of the recent BKL releases on my desk lately and brainstorming all the nail art I can do with them, so I made myself start off simple, nail vinyls! I have a sheet of the mermaid scale design that I bought ages ago from What's Up Nails, and with the help of Lele and Lava Guava, I've got a mani that I love!

Lele is a pearlescent coral multichrome that released a few months ago - see blog post here - so I grabbed a cream polish to pair it with, and even just layering the two colors gives a beautiful effect! I have pretty visible VNL and a couple overlays that have been bugging me, so a good coverage cream is a welcome sight on my nails.

While I'm firmly in the blue/purple color camp most of the year, in the summer time I'm drawn to coral!

I inverted the colors on my ring finger - 3 coats of Lele for the base and Lava Guava for the scales.
