Bee's Knees Lacquer - Crescent City Part 1
Hello, hello! Are you ready for bright and pretty spring colors? Because Bee's Knees Lacquer has got a new collection coming 4/24 at noon EDT!

I have big news for those who don't like VNL - as this collection has a handful of polishes that are on the sheer side of coverage, Sarah made two undies, a nude and a pink! I requested the nude to try it out - you won't get super opaque coverage in 1 coat, but it's fun to layer various combinations to see what suits you. The shimmers are pretty good at 3 coats on their own, but this is a little extra step you can take during your application! The other color is pink, aptly named Pinky
Possessed - 2 coats
I thought I'd be real clever and apply a GEL topcoat over possessed, so then I won't have to keep re-applying all the layers for swatching every bottle! Smart, right? But then I used a latex base coat annnnd....that plan didn't lost long lol
So here's what I ended up going with - 2 coats Possessed + 2 coats shimmer polishes, plus a comp using black undies and no undies!
Light it Up - a pearlescent multichrome that has a yellow base that shifts from yellow to lime to teal at the extremes. Can be a little sheer. $12
3 coats Light it Up on its own, 2 coats Possessed + 2 coats Light It Up, 1 coat black + 1 coat Light It Up
Lele - a pearlescennt multichrome that has a coral base and shifts from coral to pink to red at the extremes. Can be a little sheer. $12
3 coats Lele on its own, 2 coats Possessed + 2 coats Lele, 1 coat black + 1 coat Lele
Prince of the Chasm - a pearlescent multichrome that has a blue base and shifts from blue to cobalt to bright indigo at the extremes. Can be a little sheer. $12
3 coats Prince of the Chasm on its own, 2 coats Possessed + 2 coats Prince of the Chasm, 1 coat black + 1 coat Prince of the Chasm
The Viper Queen - a pearlescent multichrome that has a green base that shifts from green to blue to purple at the extremes. Can be a little sheer. $12

Luna's Horn - a pearlescent multichrome that has a sage base and shifts from sage to green to pink at the extremes. Can be a little sheer. $12
3 coats Luna's Horn on its own, 2 coats Possessed + 2 coats Luna's Horn, 1 coat black + 1 coat Luna's Horn
The Umbra Mortis - inspired by Hunt, this is a dove gray polish with a glowy blue shimmer. $11
3 thin coats + top coat
Alphahole - a light teal polish with glowing pinky red shimmer. $12
2 coats + top coat
