The Digit-al Dozen Does All That Glitters: Day 3
Hooray for Day 3! I don't have much actual glitter, but still think I'm in the sparkly ball park with these..
Gemstones glitter, don't they? Yes, yes they do...so I've planted some crystals!
My base color is White by Sally Hansen Insta-Dri -I love that it's just 1 coat to opaque coverage! And the quick dry time is a good bonus ;)Then I used Luminaura powder by Social Claws - it's been a little while since I incorporated it in a mani. I tried using yellow stopper rather than no-wipe gel. It worked surprisingly well! I had some smudges from getting impatient and painting on thick coats, but I wasn't worried as the crystals would cover it all up. Luminaura manis are hard to get pics of..need that low light, so pics are a tad darker.
I used plate CICI &SISI Geometry 02 for the crystal image, and filled it in with jelly tint polishes, and added some flakies and glitters on the back end to give them more depth, but they hardly showed up..I'm really leaning towards trying gemstones for my final look and hoping for more sparkle!
Alrighty, 2 more to go! I've been enjoying looking though the link up designs that other members put together, getting inspired a bit here to try some things after the theme even!
