#31DC2017 - Orange

Welcome to the second prompt for this challenge, featuring the color orange!

So I was expecting to fall behind at some point, but not this early on! Urg, I got a horrible break on my middle nail and had to leave it alone for a few days to heal up enough to allow some sort of a fix to be applied. So if it looks a bit off, this is the third major break for this nail :(
 I've been playing with gel polish to build the nail and I'm definitely not a tech, so my outcomes are not perfect but it'll have to do!

Lava Lust - a red jelly base with copper/orange metallic shimmer

Although it looks a bit more on the red side, the coppery orange shimmer definitely puts it into the orange category for me!

I used 2 coats for my swatches and it was perfect. First coat was a bit sheer and looked like a jelly, but the amount of shimmer totally took care of the opacity on the second coat.

My initial nail art didn't work out, so I grabbed a fall/autumn plate and went to town!

All images are from the same plate - Lina Nail Art Supplies 4 Seasons Autumn 01. This plate was previously provided to me for review, and as I'm feeling that fall should get here fast, I got it out for use again!
