Bee's Knees Lacquer - September Customs
Well hello there! I've got an extra post this month with even more swatches!! Bee's Knees Lacquer is celebrating their 4th anniversary this month and are a guest maker in 4 different groups! I've put all the swatches into one post for easy viewing, but links to purchase the polishes will be posted in the individual groups!
*Polishes provided as press samples for review*
"Fear Street" is the theme this month and what's where the name inspirations were drawn from. The polishes will be available on 9/15 at noon EDT through links posted in each FB group, through 9/30 11:59 EDT
Shadyside - a black polish with lime green magnetic shimmer and purple and red iridescent flakes; $13
Swatches show 2 coats + top coat; I did apply an arc magnet so the effect looks a little bit different than if a more traditional cat eye showed up, but the base of the polish really is black!
The Milkman in '53 - a white polish with gold to green to blue shimmer and glowy red iridescent flakes; $13
Swatches show 2 coats + top coat; I was a little nervous about this one as white polishes tend to be harder for me to get pics of, but thanks to all the shimmer this one's more like a...a...gilded white, if that makes any sense.
Sunnyvale- an aqua to purple pastel multichrome with linear holo and large holo flakes; $13
Swatches show 2 coats + top coat; Sarah's holos never disappoint and this one's beautiful as well as shifty and sparkly on top of just being holo!
Ruby Lane in '65- a charcoal gray polish with silver to blue and orange iridescent flakes; $12
Swatches show 3 coats + top coat; this polish marks my first ever broken bottle, and I've been playing for polish for over 7 years now! Sorry if the blank bottle bothers anyone, but I managed to salvage a third of the polish and pour it into an empty bottle so I could at least get the swatches done. I ended up liking this one more than I expected - the flakes remind me of fall leaves in a storm! It's got a crelly type of base so I bet it would work as a topper with a similar colored undieth
These look good :-D
