Fandom Flakies Box - March 2020: Adventure Time

Hello Hello!! Today's post features the upcoming Fandom Flakies Box - it's going to be available for purchase 3/13-3/20, don't snooze on this one if the polishes strike your fancy!

The theme this month is Adventure Time! I personally haven't watched it, but the cute waterslide decals from Ribbits Stickits helped identify some characters and make for easy nail art. The core duo are Bee's Knees Lacquer and Night Owl Lacquer - and the guest this month is Heather's Hues!

Bee's Knees Lacquer
The Vampire Queen - inspired by Marceline, this is greyed out teal polish, with red to green and silver to green UCC flakes

I used 2 coats + top coat for the swatches, this has really good coverage and nice formula and application, no poking flakes here. I really liked this color!! If I have time to go back to it again, I'd want to pair some succulent nail art with it!

Heather's Hues
What the Cabbage? - inspired by Princess Bubblegum, this is a *thermal* polish that is bright hot pink when cold, and pale bubblegum pink when warm. Its kissed with a pink to blue shifting iridescent shimmer, holo microflakes, and a hint of rose metallic microflakes

3 coats + top coat for the swatches. This time I read the memo ahead of time, AND there's a label note about the polish being thermal, so I wasn't surprised then it started fading as I applied the coats on. This was a surprisingly nice shade of pink, in both versions, hot and cold! The color transitioned easily just from me wearing this a few hours and getting naturally cold.

Night Owl Lacquer
What the Lump? - inspired by LSP, this is a lavender crelly filled with gold crystal flakes

3 coats + top coat for swatches, although on shorter nails 2 will do, the color will just be lighter. I was so excited when I pulled this out of my swatch pack - I know nothing of LSP, but *this* color and *these* flakes just have my heart. This also says "spring" pretty loudly, and we can all use a bright happy color!
