*Polishes provided as press samples for review*
Launch info: 10/1, noon EDT; full 9 piece collection $100
Murder House-a mid-toned gray with orange to green iridescent flakes as well as holo flakes. $12; swatches show 3 thin coats + top coat; the polish fits the autumn season really well, and the flashes of green and orange just add to its beauty! Like flashes of leaves on a grey sky
Coven-a lilac polish with gold to green shimmer and full of holo flakes. $12
Swatches are 3 thin coats + top coat; this is a lovely shade of lilac with a pop of green shimmer
Cult-a dirty tangerine with glowing red shimmer and full of holo flakes. $12;
Swatches are 3 thin coats + top coat; don't be scared by "tangerine", this is a very delicate color that can almost pass for nude!
Freak Show-a soft, mauve with pink shimmer and holo flakes. $12;
swatches show 2 coats +top coat; this one feels more pigmented so I didn't need the third coat to cover VNL
Hotel-an off-white polish with a scattering of red to green shimmer and loaded with opulent gold flakes. $12; swatches show 2 coats + top coat; this polish definitely looks rich with a generous amount of gold flake! Perfect base for fall leaves and brocade prints!
Roanoke-deep evergreen with OG UP ghost flakes. $14; 3 coats + top coat for swatches gave me good coverage and no shortage of flakes
Apocalypse 2019-a grungy purple with glowing blue shimmer. $11; I used 3 thin coats + top coat for swatches just to get more shimmer, but 2 were perfectly sufficient for coverage; this is an awesome combo of a neutral color and a stunning shimmer!
Asylum-a dirty, grayed out teal with bright pink/red shimmer. $11; 3 thin coats + top coat for swatches, fans of teal will not want to miss this! The shimmer is generous and will keep your eyes glued! Also, it's like a succulent color scheme so I love it even more! (succulents are a minor side hobby for me, surprise!)
1984-a sheer almost pastel turquoise with red to green shimmer. Can be layered on its own for a squishy jelly look or worn over a base. $12
I used 1 coat of a cobalt blue jelly (Boomslang Venom) and 2 coats of 1984 for the swatches, but I've seen another swatcher use it over white and uh yeah...I need that on my nails too! Have fun with the layering combos! And if you love this one, methinks there's a blue sibling in the not so distant future *cough*The Sea Whip*cough
Nice collection, I like the iridescent ones :-D
