Ninja Pumpkin - Black with metallic orange shimmers and a sprinkle of black holo micro glitters. Opaque in two coats. Topcoat is strongly recommended for maximum shine and color impact.
I used two coats and top coat for my swatches, this one is pretty opaque and has good color payoff.
For the nail art, I drew inspiration from the name Ninja Pumpkin and stamped some festive pumpkins!
I used a BornPretty Store metallic green stamping polish, item #23198, and was really impressed with how vivid it is!
My stamping plate is rather an obscure one, SPH-008. This is an Aliexpress find, exact listing I bought from is this one. They have some fun looking plates, and I felt like I ordered well enough in advance that even with slow shipping, I should have them in time for Halloween. Actually, I ordered 8/21 and the plates arrived 8/31! I was very surprised!
I used Pumpkin Queen, a Sally Hansen Insta-Dri to fill in the pumpkins and then applied them on like a decal. Overall, very festive looking pumpkins!
If you've been following along with my Tonic swatch posts, you'll know that the collection goes live today! The shop is open and in business! Lindsey, the maker, has it set up like a pre-order - so the estimated TAT (turn around time) is a little longer, but she does have polish already poured and ready to go. Once the pre-orders are done, the TAT will go back to normal. Another plus with shopping Tonic, is that collections stay up for a while and there is plenty of notice if a specific color will be discontinued - so that takes care of any anxiety surrounding selling out or having to wait till payday to order. This is a very strong Fall/Halloween collection, and the colors are so beautiful for this season, I'd love to know if anyone has any must-haves or favorites they're picking up!
If you noticed I'm one post short...then you've been paying good attention! There is indeed 8 polishes, and life got a little in the way of me getting them all swatched before the release. I've got one more post to add to this series and then I'll wrap things up in a final overview. Keep an eye on for Slitherin'!
