Bee's Knees Lacquer - What We Do In The Shadows
Hello, hello! As January comes to an end, Bee's Knees Lacquer is getting ready to release a brand new 10 piece collection! Launch will happen on 1/29/2021 noon EST!
*Polishes provided as press samples for review*
This collection is inspired by the movie/TV show - What We Do In The Shadows. If you're a fan, the names might ring a bell for you! And if not, they're still great polishes to enjoy! There are a variety of finishes included - shimmers, holos, and even magnetics!
All Jesk, No Gregor- lapis blue with a soft blue shimmer; $11
Swatches show 3 coats + top coat
Bat! - a raisin polish with glowing green shimmer; $11
Swatches show 2 coats + top coat; the shimmer really stands out against the base color and you can even get a bluish glow to show
Swatches show 3 coats + topcoat; this is a really nice neutral shade with delicate shimmer - on the left side of the bottle you can even see a rosy glow!
Swatches show 2 coats + top coat
Operation Accidentally Kill the Baron - a soft, pure silver holo; $13
Swatches show 2 coats + top coat

I don't live to drain, I drain to live - inspired by Colin Robinson, this is a silver to green to blue multichrome; $13
Swatches show 3 coats + top coat; this is a pretty interesting one, in my pictures it looks more silver green, with blue making an appearance, but in the bottle there's also pink/purple/gold!
Swatches show 2 coats + top coat
Dark Greetings - lightly tinted black polish with green to blue magnetic and OG UP (red to green) ghost flakes; $14
Swatches show 3 coats + top coat, with a magnetic effect done with a ring magnet. On the first coat it seemed like the polish was a clear base with a lot of particles in it and was sheer, but the second coat deposited more coverage and would have been enough to wear. You can see in the last picture that it's still sheer on my pinky after 3 coats, but I think that's more of a light and my prominent free edge combination.
Vampires Only - black to red multichrome with a silver magnetic shimmer; $13
Swatches show 2 coats + top coat with a ring magnet effect. Without any magnets, the polish appears like a burnished silver metallic, but once the magnet starts either gathering or pulling the pigments, the black to red multichrome base is revealed. I was pretty surprised with this polish! If you're a fan of the black to red multichromes, and that has been a trend recently, the magnetic effect will make this a unique polish in any collection!
Launch of this collection is 1/29, it will be preorder, closing on 2/1 at 3AM EST. There's also going to be quite a lot of respawn polishes! These are past releases that are requested for a come back - the website has a form to fill out if you have something you just can't find anymore, so take advantage of it!
OMG what a stunning collection :-D
