Indie Expo Canada - Bee's Knees Lacquer LEs

This weekend, a lot of fun is being had at Indie Expo Canada in Toronto! If you're not in attendance, you can still pick up some polishes from Bee's Knees Lacquer, as they'll be available online 8/18 at 8pm EST!

Bee's Knees Lacquer once again drew inspiration from the Supernatural for these polishes! Are you a fan of the show? I know names and inspirations can be secondary to the actual polish/color, but I'm always excited when I can say " I know that one!!" or if it's from one of my fandoms! I've got the trio swatched, so take a look.

Arachne: smoky eggplant polish with eerie green to gold shimmer; $13 CAD at the show and $11 USD online

For swatches I used 2 coats + topcoat. This is such a great color, I was a little surprised with all the changes it goes through! In the bottle it's definitely a dusty tone of purple with green shimmer, but while wearing it and getting the gold shimmer to show, it looked so elegant and at the same time made me think "fall" for some reason. It's probably because the changing shimmer is like the leaves changing color in the fall!

Shtriga: a dark aqua polish with a soft pink shimmer; $13 CAD at the show and $11 USD online

This polish is a bit sheer so I applied 3 coats + topcoat for swatches. This one's right up my alley and was the first one I pulled out to swatch, got too lazy for pictures and ended up wearing it all week long! The pink shimmer is delicate and in normal house lighting, it actually looks more pearlescent than pink, but there's a hidden green side too!

Hell Hounds: dark grey polish with bright pink to yellow shimmer; $13 CAD at the show and $11 USD online

Two coats + topcoat for swatches. This one mainly showed me the pink shimmer side, but it's the same shimmer as Lafayette Witch (Portland TIS) has, so I had to try them out together!
