Bee's Knees Lacquer - January 2019 Release - Part 2
Hope you're not tired of seeing new polishes, because Bee's Knees Lacquer keeps releasing them and I have the pleasure to share! There's another release this month 1/11/19 so take a look at the 3 new colors!
*Polishes provided as press samples for review*
The Thirteen - a blackened-blue loaded with original unicorn pee (OG UP) and ghost flakes, the larger flakes that shift the same color as OG UP; price $18I applied 2 coats, this is a jelly base so your coverage may vary - I had pretty white tips at the time so you can see more through it but in general, 2 coats should be fine. Jelly bases help the UP pigment shine!
Abraxos -inspired by Manon's wyvern (Throne of Glass), this is a charcoal polish with ghost flakes, the larger flakes that shift the same color as OG UP; price $15
2 coats & top coat for my swatches - this one was on the creamier side of jelly but still squishy so the flakies aren't covered up completely
Mannon Blackbeak - a deep red with ghost flakes, the larger flakes the shift the same color as OG UP; price $15
This is another Throne of Glass inspired polish and 2 squishy coats to make me fall in love with a red! I was definitely surprised by it but can you blame me? Just look at those flakies peeking out on the left of the bottle!
There was another new item released this month, but it's not a color, it's a satin top coat - Hail Satin! I applied it over Mannon Blackbeak
I would also suggest using a UP topper over this if you've got one hanging out in your collection! I was telling Sarah that the combo really reminded me of the Nfu Oh 51 polish, with the jelly + UP shimmer + UP flakies elements. There has definitely been a lot more UP polishes lately and Sarah has put out some pretty unique colors, but if she's got more of these flakie jellies up her sleeve, I may be drooling on them all! We each have our preferences in colors and finishes of course, and I try really hard not to say "you NEED this one" about everything I swatch, but just FYI, I favor these kinds of polishes and do hope you enjoy them too if you end up picking these up!
