Baroness X - Equinox Collection + March FA polishes
I seem to have developed an addiction to nail polish! I'm constantly talking about polish and browsing swatches and reviews. So I decided to get a blog for posting my own attempts at nail art and designs, and to give my hubby a break from having to listen to me blab all the time :) Of course, nail polish isn't ALL I'm interested in, so I think other topics and posts will creep up in here as well!

Swatch & Art: a Tonic Polish and Baroness X combo!
Hello & Welcome! Wow it's been a while since my last post.. I've been trying to polish but keep getting in a creative slump and filing my nails a little too much. Then I have to wait for them to gain back some length, as I often put off specific designs because I want them to fit better. Ah well, it happens. I've got something to show today, so let's get to it!

Compass Rose ft Baroness X & Nvr Enuff Polish
A few weeks ago I was doing a little bit of organizing, mainly swatching newer polishes and labeling the corresponding swatch sticks. Two polishes from different brands happen to have met on my desk and I fell in love with their combo and promised myself that I would put them together in a mani soon. Well, I got them to play nice and here's the result :D

Dark and beautiful, Nvr Enuff Winter Solstice, paired with the bright and happy Baroness X Chiara. Check after the jump for up close and personal pics of these two! You could even say I got two nail art looks out of this combo!

Stamping Saturday: Doomfire berries
Stamping Saturday has arrived, and I've been slacking! So far 2016 is off to a slow start as far as my nails go. I made this mani last weekend but didn't get around to posting it. Partially because I was getting over a cold and just wanted to veg all day and not do anything, and partially because I was afraid I wouldn't be able to capture and show off Doomfire well enough.

What's Doomfire you ask? It's that bottle of magic I have in my hand, made by the Baroness X. Yup, it's the same brand that was featured in the mermaid mani earlier in the month. Doomfire is a custom polish made for the Baroness X fan group, using the elusive unicorn pee pigment. Simply Nailogical did a video about this pigment on YouTube, it's a fun watch if you're interested!

Stamping Saturday: Glamorous Mermaid
Welcome to the first post of 2016! It's still winter outside and we even have our first snow day, but I wanted something a bit more sparkly on my tips, and there's a polish that's been begging to come out of my helmer to play, so I obliged and the end result is pretty nice! I'm going to say it's part of my Stamping Saturday series of posts even though it's late..but things get busy over the holidays!
