I hope the images are pretty obvious of what the theme is!
This past week we've been watching Harry Potter movies with hubby, so when I wanted to change my nails for the weekend I wanted to do something HP related as July 31st is Harry's birthday. I knew I wanted a blue base, like a baby blue for "The Boy Who Lived" and I have recently gotten some new polishes from Nvr Enuff, so that's what I picked.
This blue creme is called Dove, and it applied nicely and would be opaque in 2-3 coats - I used 3 here, plus topcoat.
I also knew I wanted to have an owl image, and the letters HP. While making my owl decal, I first used Nvr Enuff Purely Pegasus to color it in, then applied a white cream color to make sure it was opaque. The stamp it from plate #12 from Creative Shop.
And while I was already using two Nvr Enuff polishes, I grabbed a sparkly topped, aptly named Sparkly - it's full of holo and pretty flakes. Harry Potter nails should be magical, right? :D

The HP letters as well as glasses are from plate JR-2 from MyOnline Shop. The snitch is from plate hehe30 and I used a dot of Gold Medal from Sinful Colors.
After we finish the movies, I'll have some catch up reading to do as I never finished the series...oops. And I hear there's a new book out so I gotta get up to speed quick! Hope you enjoyed :)
