Art: Tonic Polish - Unicorn Pee Collection

Tonic Polish - Unicorn Pee Collection - the nail art portion!
If you haven't see the swatches already, then please take a look at my post here! In this post I will focus on the nail art I did with these polishes because I wanted to keep it separate from the main swatches. Hope you enjoy!
*Tonic Polishes were a press sample provided for review*
First one up is the crelly -
Happy Beginning. I wanted to keep the art to a minimum on these so the actual polish is still front and center.

I used MdU white stamping polish and flower from Messy Mansion MM20 and text from Uber Chic 3-03

Next up is Your Vibe Attracts Your Tribe

For this one I used black stamping polish and plate 01 from
Creative Shop. I colored in the flower and applied like a decal. Some smooshing happened because I didn't wait long enough, but it's alright!

Ready for Serendipity?

Same as with Happy Beginning
MdU white stamping polish and flower from Messy Mansion MM20 and text from Uber Chic 3-03. Some plates tend to hang out on my desk and I reach for them first so they get repeat use :D
Next up is Curio!

Stamping polish is Mdu Mint, and text is again from plate
Uber Chic 3-03, lace from  Loja BBF 34

I've used the "be-you-tiful" text not long ago, and a fellow Redditor pointed out how much the ending looks like "tifu" - because the nail bed curves and the "l" disappears. If you're not familiar with ir-it's a subreddit full of stories of "today I f**ked up". Now I can't look at the stamp without cracking a smile, it's like wearing a secret message

What about Apotheke? I ended up layering 2 coats of it over Happy Beginning for my swatches, and did the art on top of that.

MdU white stamping polish; the flower is from Uber Chic 3-02 plate, and the text is Bundle Monster 619

I will admit that Uniporn was a surprise favorite..I've got quite a fill line showing already, so I hope the art was worth it, cuz I did the most with this one and still didn't use up all my ideas!

I used Happy Beginning for the art here - tried to make something with vinyls but ended up finishing out the triangles by hand, which was rather new. I should note that my index nail is much darker than I expected, I assume it's because of my application. If you read the swatch post, you'll know I used 5 coats of Uniporn on my index nail. Annnnd then I added HB over top, and then more Uniporn on all the nails. I wanted to use all the polishes from the collection together before branching out!

I like that the green peeks out at the cuticle line! Yay for unicorn pee shift! So glowy <3

Then I branched out a bit from using all
Tonics..

Many people that collect the unicorn pee polishes favor specific undies. I'm not in that category as I own too few and learned of UP too late, but somewhere I got in my head that
OPI Russian Navy is a good base for UPs. So while shopping a few weeks ago, I spotted a bin at the checkout and snagged myself a bottle for $3.99! Finally I own it, and didn't waste time before putting it to use.

I love how much redder it makes the polish look! On its own, Uniporn leans more pink but here is real magic. I used mermaid scale stencils from
What's Up Nails and a stamp from Bundle Monster XL211

And last but no least...a jelly sandwich! Not sure if it counts as "art" but it will once I add stamping!!

I'll list what I used, then show more pics!
1 coat of
OPI Magenta Muse, 1 coat of Glam Polish An Unexpected Journey, and 1 coat of Uniporn. Before it was announced that HB will be part of the UP collection, I've been meaning to play with some of the OPI color paints to get my jelly and UP layering on. If you have Indigo Motif, play with it! I wanted to use, as well as a black base, but feel like I've done so many manis already lol

The
Glam polish is like unicorn pee glitters, and then covered in UP red jelly...it's so squishy and juicy looking

And the stamping...I was aiming for a look of royalty

Black and gold stamping polish and images from
Uber Chic Fairytale 01 and 02

I hope you enjoyed the nail art, and if you haven't picked up any of these polishes already - I heard some may be restocked. So keep an eye out on the brand's pages to snag some!
